Well, this is a little different for me - I have a few pedals and items from the workbench on display as part of an exhibit in a gallery space at Artisan Queensland.
This is an exhibit for and curated by Steve from Szephyz Guitars, a local maker in my city. Steve specialises in recycled wood and native species - which is awesome as we have some amazingly unique timber in Australia. This is really his thing, and as a fairly low-key builder, I feel a little humbled to be part of it.
Dave Leddin is also part of the exhibit, another local who just happens to live down the road from me and happens to make some pretty damn cool pickups when he has the time.
Another maker involved is Jim Gall, an Architect with a lifelong interest in local timbers who also happens to make some pretty cracking guitars. No photos here, unfortunately, look him up on Instagram. Apart from guitars, his work at his day job as an Architect is pretty interesting too.
Congratulacions for being in the expo, or better said, for having your pedals there!!
