SRS: EQ Exciter, Creepy Fingers mod

I was poking around in my files and realised that I had started a layout for this a couple of years ago, but had not quite finished it - anyways, here it is.  

It's SRS EQ Exciter from the seventies, with the Creepy Fingers mod.  If you want to make it stock, replace the Gain pot with a 47k resistor.   It's hardly an EQ pedal, it's a balls out silicon fuzz.

I'll probably return to this and update the post with a few bits from LTspice.  The EQ is interesting.

CREEPY FINGERS: Regulus 8

This is Creepy Fingers' take on the Os Mutantes Fuzz.  It's fixed a few issues the original had - the original being the DISTORCEDOR "R-VIII" from Brazil. 

There are already some layouts of this out there (as always), so I thought I'd do something a little different and replace the trimmers with external pots.

CREEPY FINGERS: Lonely Hearts Fuzz

I do like some of the Beatles fuzz tones, and coincidentally I have a couple of Gretsch Guitars to match - so when I saw this, I thought I had to give it a try.  

It's very closely based on the preamp from the Vox UL series amps, which were used on Revolver and in some cases Sergeant Peppers.  Hence the name.

Updated from V1 as it had an error - this layout (V1b) works just fine.   The 1k gate trimmer could be an external pot.  It is quite useful. 

Note that I used a different transistor for Q1, so the orientation is different to the layout above.  I didn’t have a BC319, so I used a 2N3565 instead.  

This is the signal taken from the collector of Q1 - it's dirty from the first stage.
