This is a fine-looking little amp from the early forties - the field-coil speaker is dated March 1941, making it pre-war from an American's perspective.
No volume or tone controls, as it is a very small amp, and these controls were of course mounted on its matching lap steel guitar.
The brief on this one is to get it working, so it can once again be paired with the lap steel.
