PETE CORNISH: OC-1 Optical Compressor

Check out the tracing log on for the Pete Cornish OC-1 on Aion Electronics - they did an amazing job on this.   Given the size of this layout, it's well worth considering purchasing a board from them.  It's Pete's own design, not a re-work of another classic.

note:  X on the layout = a link.

I have used this layout to make sure the pedals work perfectly.
I recommend using shielded wire from input to vero input, pedal out to output, buffer out to switch, and comp out to switch, and all ground wires should be star ground wired.

Are the little x on the layout link points?

Hello - yes they are. This is a pretty big layout, I'd question if it's worth making given the alternatives out there - or buy the board from Aion FX.

Thanks Andrew, I have made it, and that's why it had no comp out signal, I had one long link there. All good now with those connections, cheers mate!

Sorry about that - I should have made it more obvious. Glad you have it sorted now.

No probs, thanks for doing it! Also, I was wondering about that 15K under Z1, where there is a link on the non-component layout in that spot, I went with the 15K and it works, so I assume it's correct like that.

Yep - the 15k is correct. I must have had the resistor on the otherside of the IC at one stage. Thanks for pointing that out.
