caution - start with low levels.
440hz sine wave, probe on the output. This is with germanium transistors, which looks very much like the silicon ones I tested first. I changed to a larger fuzz pot for a bit more range.

DeleteIt's on the breadboard. It really pumps out some level - unless there's an issue with the diode, in which case there will be none. Maybe check the diode.

DeleteCan it clean up with your volume knob? Been searching for a simple high gain Velcro fuzz that I can get crystal clear clean tones with too
ReplyDeleteI can’t recall if it cleaned up. It has been a few years.
DeleteIf you want Velcro fuzz with cleanup , try a MK1.5. May not be easy as it can be fussy about transistors.
