SOLA SOUND: Tone Bender MKI, Point to Point Layout

The classic Sola Sound Tone Bender MKI...  if you think you have enough fuzz on your board, there should be room for one more if you don't have one of these.

This is a maximum mojo layout for NOS parts - one might just as easily use a layout with normal size parts, and it will sound pretty much the same, and it would be a lot smaller.

Like just about any pedal, the carbon composite resistors are completely optional, although they do work with the vintage vibe.  This is a positive ground circuit, and as an early fuzz, these are generally considered to sound the best running off a 9v battery.

If you plan on running it off anything else, just make sure you put in the appropriate filtering etc on the voltage inverter.

There's a lot of info out there on transistor selection, so I won't get into that here.
