Have you tried the version that switches between the Rock and the Fuzz with a BMP tone control and a gain recovery stage? I’m curious, but at the same time I wonder if it might just be too elaborate / ruins the simplicity
Hi Andy, I didn't box either them to be honest - I find myself addicted to germanium fuzz face and tonebenders. I remember building my first fuzz face years ago and it was so meh!!! After many tweaks and reading forums you make a winner and that's it, you're hooked.
Hi Ian - I have a draw full of circuits that are pretty good, but never made it into a box. I know the feeling, as I also have a bit of a leaning towards germanium myself.
Two superb pedals, amazing how much noise comes from such small circuits
