Great build, thanks for the layout. I subbed for parts on hand, TLC2272, 1N4001s, a pair of 47pf caps in parallel, 1M vol, 10kb tone... sounds great! I also added a DPDT diode switch that affects the 3rd diode in the clipping circuit- stock assym with 1N4001, assym with yellow LED, or bypass for symmetrical clipping aka Timmy. Very cool but subtle at low gain settings.

Is there a difference between the colors of the links?
Red is power, grey is ground, blue is a signal link
